A.S. Hornby Educational Trust Scholarship: A scholarship that honours A.S.Hornby, the creator of the Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary, the Hornby Scholarship program provides living expenses, tuition fees, visa expenses and covers language tests as well. It is aimed at English language teachers, teacher-trainers and material writers wanting to pursue a one-year Master’s degree in English Language Teaching (ELT) at University of Warwick. They must have at-least a 5 years of experience as a full-time teacher. The trust encourages the use of this education to further the knowledge and dissemination of English in their countries.

Bristol University Scholarships: University of Bristol offers various graduate and post graduate scholarships to international students. The Think Big scholarships, along with many others, offer partial funding in different undergraduate and postgraduate fields.

Cardiff University Scholarships: University of Cardiff offers many different scholarships for both graduate and undergraduate students. Cardiff University offers a number of extremely renowned international scholarships in appreciation of the great skill of many overseas students. These scholarships are meant to recruit and reward the brightest students. It also offers its own student scholarships as well as ones that are co-sponsored by other groups.

Charles Wallace India Trust (CWIT) Scholarships: Offered by the British Council, it is one of the major scholarships for Indian students to study in UK. It offers up to 10 long term awards that are generally from two months to a maximum of a year. The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses and a contribution towards the airfare.

Chevening Scholarships for Indian and International Students: One of the top Government scholarships in UK, it covers living and travel expenses, tuition fee and visa costs. It is an international award scholarship that covers a one-year post-graduate course in any subject at any university in the UK. It is one of the most coveted scholarships that covers more than 12,000 courses across 150 universities. Funds for Chevening are provided by Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and their partners.

Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship: One of the most well-known scholarships in which 53 participating countries offer scholarships to citizens of Commonwealth countries, it benefits meritorious students. It includes tuition, airfare and other miscellaneous expenses.

Denys Holland Scholarship: Selected international under-graduate scholars at University College London can get £9000 per academic year for three years that they can use for tuition or living expenses. Preference is given to students aged 25 years or younger. It is need-based and is awarded in consecutive years subject to satisfactory academic progress.

Dr. Manmohan Singh Scholarships: Launched by St. John’s College in honour of Dr. Manmohan Singh, the scholarship offers academically outstanding Indian students scholarships to study at St John’s College, the University of Cambridge for doctorate programs in subjects such as science and technology, economics, and social sciences. The scholarship includes airfare, UK visa, a monthly stipend and tuition fees.

Edinburgh Global Research Scholarships: Of all the applicants who apply for a PhD course at the University of Edinburgh, 30 foreign students with excellent record are offered grants that cover partial tuition fee. 

Gates Cambridge Scholarships: One of the most renowned universities globally, University of Cambridge has a grant scheme for international students. It is offered to attend a full-time postgraduate course at the university and offers financial support for students with an excellent record.

Goa Education Trust (GET) Scholarships: Although all graduate Indian students are eligible for the scholarship, preference is given to Goans. It is awarded in participation with British Council of India to pursue postgraduate level education in UK across disciplines like architecture, journalism, ancient history, law, education, business management and communications. It can be a full or partial award of tuition fees, not exceeding £12,500, depending on the qualification of and capability demonstrated by the recipient.

GREAT Scholarships: For the current academic year of 2022–23, there are 20 post-graduate scholarships available from UK universities for Indian students desirous of taking up varied subjects. It extends a minimum of £10,000 towards tuition fee for a one-year post-graduate course. It is jointly funded by GREAT funds and contributions from UK Higher Education Institutions. Along with 36 other partner universities, GREAT offers 35 full tuition scholarships to UG and PG students.

Inlaks Scholarships: Apart from UK, this scholarship is also valid for studying in top American and European institutions. It covers tuition fees up to $100,000, along with living costs and airfare.

International Scholarships at University of Westminster: Post graduate international students enrolling in the UK are offered part-fee scholarships by University of Westminster.

International Undergraduate Engineering Scholarship: Students who wish to pursue a graduate programme in sports engineering, electronic engineering and biomedical engineering can apply for scholarships offered by Nottingham Trent University. Any international student can apply for this partial grant of £5000 per year.

Kingston University London Scholarships: Kingston University London offers a partial scholarship of £5000 to eligible international students enrolling for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University. Students must be able to pay the balance fee and cover the rest of the expenses themselves.

MBA Scholarships at Brunel University: University of Brunel London offers various scholarships for their MBA programmes. International students enrolled for the MBA degree in Business Administration can apply for these partial grants.

MBA Skoll Scholarships: Offered by Said Business School of the University of Oxford, these scholarships are meant for Masters Degree students. They cover the entire tuition fee and basic living costs. It is only for non-UK residents with at least 12 months of experience leading an enterprise.

Rhodes Scholarships: One of the oldest and most prestigious scholarships for Indian students, the Rhodes Scholarship, covers one or two year post-graduate programs for five Indian students every year. It takes into account many other criteria apart from academics such as intellect, leadership, etc. It covers tuition fees, living costs and economy fare for students to study at Oxford University.

Sir Ratan Tata Scholarships: It is awarded to meritorious UG & PG students pursuing education in UK in the fields of architecture, hotel management, fine arts, law and education. The grant also consists of partial international airfare, apart from the scholarship for tuition fee.

UK Scholarships from British Council: The British Council awards an IELTS scholarship that any international student from any country globally can apply for to pursue a Bachelor or a Masters Degree in the UK. Students get between £3,000 to £10,000 depending on the award.

University of Sussex International Scholarships: The University of Sussex offers partial scholarships for an academic year that covers half of the universities tuition fee. This is offered to non-EU students enrolled in a full time postgraduate program at the University of Sussex. Scholarships of up to £5000 per year are also offered to undergraduate international students.
